A messages for patients and
physicians:
The Imaging Center is a
professional, free-standing, full-service diagnostic radiology
facility. To perform Elective Prenatal Exams, we use the GE Logiq 7
from GE Medical Systems. The software component in this advanced system
is what creates these amazing images, not a higher intensity of sound
waves. In fact, the system uses the same intensity as a 2D ultrasound
system.
Our ultrasound technologists are
board-certified and are experienced in performing traditional 2D
diagnostic exams as well as elective prenatal exams. This allows us to
provide a report documenting the findings of a limited 2D diagnostic
exam performed before each session that will be available upon your
request. This limited exam is not meant to replace the prenatal care
that a patient recieves from her primary care physician
