Following your exam, a board-certified radiologist examines your films or other images, compares them with previous studies, if available, and dictates a report. Our on-site medical transcriptionist types the report and stores it in a secure internal database. The radiologist retrieves the report to review and sign with high-security digital software. The signed report is then immediately faxed and/or mailed to your physician. Our radiologist is on-site, so we can also call urgent results to your physician while you wait.

The Imaging Center significantly improved its report turn-around time with the use of ARX Cosign digital signature software and ActFax server software.  More information about document security with ARX Cosign software is available at www.ARX.com.
