SYNVISC® Injections

SYNVISC® Hylan g-F 20 is an FDA approved therapy that can offer relief to those suffering from Osteoarthritis of the knee. Synvisc® is made from hyaluronan, which is found in joint fluid, and helps to lubricate the knee joint. This enables the joint to work properly and without pain. Synvisc is applied through a series of three injections. These injections are preformed under an advanced live motion x-ray unit (Fluroscopy) and little pain in associated with the treatments. Patients can experience freedom from knee joint pain for 6 months or more from the time of your final injection. During this time most patients experience a dramatic decrease in their osteoarthritis pain.
